Along the way

I’ve added a new section to my gallery.

It’s a selection of images from my last exhibition (Along the way), which was a remarkably successful event. I mention that just as an aside; it’s neither here nor there. At the time I was overwhelmed with feelings of absurdity. About my life in particular. I’m ok now, thanks. Everything makes sense now. I developed an avatar (blueboy) so that I could use him as a way of illustrating a farcical narrative based on the stations of the cross. I’ve always liked the surreal imagery of religious art (eg; saint holding his beheaded head under arm to signify method of martyrdom), slightly less so after I discovered the codified meanings. As an atheist I find religion to be the height of absurdity so it seemed like a good jumping off point ….
